U.K. challenges European transaction tax in court

The U.K. government is challenging in the European Court of Justice an effort in 11 eurozone nations to tax financial transactions. British Chancellor George Osborne and others have expressed concern about the levy's extraterritorial nature. Meanwhile, Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem says the Netherlands is interested in such taxation, but the country's conditions have not yet been met.
