UK educators explore the latest ed-tech trends

Increased use of smartphones in the classroom, computer coding, social media for peer review and video were some of the major education-technology trends highlighted during the recent British Education and Training Technology conference. One presenter, Travis Allen, said students do not need to know everything about their smartphones -- just how to find, filter and apply. Another presenter shared how he has used online content to engage students, including using student blogs.
