Wendy's blitzes to counter PR nightmare

Spurred by news accounts that a woman had found part of a finger in her bowl of Wendy's chili, the company's public relations effort kicked into high gear to counter the blow to the restaurant chain's image. The woman involved has since been arrested on suspicions that she planted the finger herself for financial gain. Wendy's executive Denny Lynch told a reporter, "We need to get customers thinking about Wendy's again. They've been taken out of that mind-set."
