Lawmaker says tackling immigration reform would scuttle climate bill

The Senate is unprepared to tackle immigration reform, and moving forward on that issue would affect the Senate's capacity to address climate legislation, according to Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who has been working with Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on an immigration plan. Graham said the immigration-reform package is not ready. "We haven't done anything to prepare the body or the country for immigration [reform]." Graham said.
