OSHA cites Werner Construction following worker's death

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration has cited Norfolk, Neb.-based Werner Construction for willful and serious violations of the OSH Act following the death of a worker. The worker was caught in a roadway belt-paving machine. "It is imperative that employers take the necessary steps to eliminate hazards and provide a safe working environment for their employees to prevent this needless loss of life from occurring," said Charles Adkins, OSHA's regional administrator in Kansas City, Mo.
