Students with visual impairments are becoming filmmakers in course

Emmy-winning television producer Kevin Bright has developed a filmmaking course for students with visual impairments at Boston's Perkins School for the Blind. Bright has improvised on technique and instruction to teach students about lighting, editing and other aspects of film production. "You have to take advantage of the senses they do have," Bright said, "Light becomes not bright and dark but hot and cold."
