Study: Majority of websites are not trustworthy enough

About 8% of consumer websites are doing enough to cut down on online fraud -- the rest need work, says a report from the Online Trust Alliance. The group looked at 1,200 sites and 500 million e-mails purporting to be from those sites, then graded the sites based on the existence of malware or links to sites with malware. Among those making the honor roll were Apple, eBay and PayPal.
