Wood Mackenzie expects decline in Gulf deepwater output in 2011

Gulf of Mexico deepwater production will fall by about 375,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2011, according to a report from Wood Mackenzie. Output isn't expected to top pre-spill "estimates until 2016, when a new peak of nearly 2 million barrels of oil equivalent is anticipated," the report added.
