Lowe's boosts online sales with "flexible" fulfillment

Home improvement retailer Lowe's increased its online sales 70% last year, growth the company attributes largely to a program that offered customers faster delivery times. Under the flexible fulfillment strategy, orders are shipped either from warehouses, the closest Lowe's store or directly from the supplier.
