Government spending is top concern of small businesses, study finds

Small-business owners are most concerned about government spending, according to a U.S. Bank survey. Other concerns are unemployment, health care and taxes. Last year, 70% of small-business owners said they thought the country was in a recession, but only 43% think that this year, the survey found. However, only 28% of respondents anticipate increasing their capital spending, compared with 32% last year.
