Ohio industry group lauds passage of Keystone XL resolution

The Ohio Legislature was lauded by the Ohio Petroleum Council for passing a resolution that calls on the federal government to approve construction of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline. "The White House has an opportunity to approve the pipeline and create thousands of good-paying jobs today," said Chris Zeigler, the group's executive director. Ohio's gross domestic product will grow by $9.6 billion over the next 25 years because of the project, he added.
