SHOP.CA aims to capture more sales for Canadian merchants

The average Canadian shopper has 65% more disposable income than her counterpart in the U.S. and spends almost as much time online, making Canadians a key target customer for online retailers looking to boost sales. Toronto-based online marketplace SHOP.CA is an online mall launched last year that offers shoppers access to goods from 1,000 Canadian suppliers, along with free shipping, free returns and a $25 welcome credit when new shoppers spend $100 or more.
