Study: Keystone XL construction might boost wages by almost 30%

A study released by Bloomberg Government says construction workers' wages in parts of Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska could rise by as much as 30% during the construction of the $5.3 billion Keystone XL pipeline. This is based on an increase in pay for those who worked on a pipeline in South Dakota in 2008. However, workers on the Keystone Pipeline between Oklahoma and Texas have not yet seen their pay increase.
