Swiss chocolate sees a dip

The chocolate industry in Switzerland experienced a decline in 2012, as volume fell 2.2% and sales dropped 3.4%. "The principal reason for this is the overvalued Swiss franc, which made Swiss chocolate products more expensive abroad and made imported chocolate cheaper," said trade association Chocosuisse.
