IAB calls on Nielsen, comScore to update ratings systems

Both Nielsen//NetRatings and comScore need to update their measurement systems to comply with Media Ratings Council audits and to adopt similar ratings standards, according to Randall Rothenberg, the new president-CEO of the IAB. "Discrepancies as wide as the ones we are seeing are unacceptable to us, and they should be unacceptable to you and your teams," Rothenberg said in a letter to both firms.
