Spellings samples classroom teaching

U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings and First Lady Laura Bush, a former teacher, took turns guest teaching a class of first-graders, in recognition of the Teach For America program, which is staging a weeklong effort to draw attention to schools in low-income areas by having well-known people visit classes taught by individuals trained by the organization.
