Wisconsin bill would require coverage for cochlear implants

Both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature passed a bill that would require insurance companies to cover cochlear implants, hearing aids and other treatment for people younger than 18 who have severe hearing conditions. Gov. Jim Doyle is expected to sign the measure into law.
