Lévy to end 40-year run at Publicis Groupe

Publicis Groupe chairman and chief executive Maurice Lévy won't be seeking to renew his contract with the French ad holding company when it expires at the end of next year. Lévy has held the top post at Publicis since 1987. Under his leadership, the advertising giant as acquired creative shop Leo Burnett and media agencies ZenithOptimedia and Starcom MediaVest, and digital shops Digitas and Razorfish.
