$4B pipeline upgrade in Midwest, Mid-Atlantic to create 8,000 jobs

NiSource, parent company of Columbia Gas, plans to invest $4 billion over the next 15 years to improve 12,000 miles of natural-gas pipelines in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. The pipelines are more than 40 years old. The project is expected to create 8,000 jobs.
