Arizona's Mesa school district to roll out all-propane bus fleet

The Mesa Unified School District hopes to launch the first all-propane bus fleet in Arizona to keep up with fuel-price hikes and more stringent emission rules. Ron Latko, the district's transportation director, said it could take more than 10 years to convert the entire fleet, which will use the district's 18,000-gallon tank as a propane refueling station.
