Today's services providers, aiming to cash in on the increasing demand for cloud development, find themselves reassessing relationships and business strategy, and opting more for niche vendor partnerships, writes Michael Vizard. The goal is to provide customers with greater scalability and flexibility, and that sometimes isn't doable with traditional server companies, says David Okada, senior manager for marketing at Super Micro.
