GoAir hoping to branch out with smaller-city, international routes

Indian budget airline GoAir is studying the possibility of expanding domestic routes to smaller cities as well as restarting lower-cost red-eye flights to make more use of its modest fleet. High operating costs and increased competition also have the carrier seeking a government waiver to begin international routes despite a rule mandating a 20-aircraft minimum for overseas carriers.
