How to keep students motivated as summer approaches

Teachers share in this blog post several ways in which they keep students engaged and motivated through the spring and help them finish the school year strong. They suggest saving more exciting topics to teach in the spring, giving students more choices and taking classes outside when possible. Shaelynn Farnsworth, an English teacher, said she asks her students to visit various locations on campus and write about their memories from those areas. "Students love going outside -- they're motivated by it," she said.
