Md. lawmakers fail to reach agreement on proposed casino

Plans for a high-end casino coming to Prince George's County remain uncertain as Maryland legislators continue to be far from reaching a consensus on a gambling measure. Earlier this year, Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker III proposed the billion-dollar casino for a site on the Potomac River near Washington, D.C., which he said could be a boon to the state's economy.
