Parvovirus can be prevented with vaccination

Parvovirus is caused by a virulent virus that is particularly deadly for dogs, and the AVMA reports several recent outbreaks, writes veterinarian Richard Jablonski. Treatment is difficult and can only control the symptoms. However, vaccination exists and is an easy way to ensure a pet is protected.
