Progressive workouts help avoid plateaus, trainer says

Hitting an exercise plateau where progress stops isn't necessarily a bad thing and should be considered feedback from the body that the workout is no longer effective, personal trainer Marshall Roy says. He recommends long-term, progressive workout plans to help avoid plateaus rather than hopping around to different routines or following the latest fads.
