Research shows a job applicant's credit score might give you some idea of how well he or she will perform, but it won't help you to identify potential thieves, Michael Woodward notes. Although it might be easy to rely on credit scores in the hiring process, there are other "more job relevant" ways of gauging potential performance, he writes.
