Why Apple's ex-iAd chief is working with Foursquare

Former iAd sales director Steven Rosenblatt is working closely with Foursquare as the location-based service prepares to launch a paid search/discovery platform next month. That makes sense, some observers say, since Foursquare's offers use the entire screen, much like those offered by Apple's iAd platform. "Foursquare can drive sales, and that's ultimately what marketers want," adds MomentFeed CEO Rob Reed.
