Banks in China feel credit card growing pains

Banks in China are ramping up promotions and offers aimed at convincing consumers there to sign up for their credit cards. Card issuance in China has more than tripled in the past five years but few cardholders roll over balances; banks are working to grab market share, even as as fees and interest fail to cover their costs.
