Calif. in-home smoking ban is snuffed out

A California State Assembly bill that would have banned smoking inside condominiums, duplexes and apartments represented the first state-level effort to limit in-home smoking. However, a committee killed the legislation. Critics questioned whether it was enforceable and expressed concerns about smokers who could not easily get outdoors.
