China manufacturing slump pushes Asian shares lower

The latest sign of weakness in China's manufacturing sector sent tremors across Asian markets Tuesday, with most markets ending the day lower. The Nikkei fell 0.29% to 13,529.65, the Hang Seng dropped 1.08% to 21,806.61 and the Kospi eased 0.40% to 1,918.63 while the S&P/ASX rose 1.00% to 5,016.20.
