Lifelong, regular exercise best for cardio, muscular health

Regular, lifelong exercise can have a big effect on cardiovascular and neuromuscular health, research shows, helping to slow the effects of aging. Benjamin Levine of the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital said four to five weekly workouts may offer the best defense against declines in speed and cardiac strength.
