SpaceX rocket hovers at 820 feet, lands during test flight

In its fifth test flight, SpaceX's Grasshopper rocket flew 820 feet up and hovered before returning to the launch pad. That's three times higher than its previous test. SpaceX hopes to use the 10-story high rocket to develop technology to return rockets intact to Earth instead of burning up in the atmosphere.
