Expert busts myths about organ and tissue donation

For National Donate Life Month, cardiologist Brooks Edwards, director of the Center for Transplantation and Clinical Regeneration at the Mayo Clinic, offers information to dispel some of the myths that can be associated with organ and tissue donation. Age and medical condition don't necessarily disqualify people from becoming donors, and donation doesn't rule out an open-casket funeral, Edwards said.
