Some older adults not willing to take clot-busting drug after stroke

A survey of 1,100 people aged 50 and older found that 24% would not want to receive tissue plasminogen activator or similar drugs if they arrived at the hospital unable to decide for themselves after a stroke. The findings appear in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
