Gates foundation bolsters school technology

A $100 million grant program from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is being used in Loudoun County, Va., to give principals incentives to increase technology in their schools. Principals who attend four technology seminars will receive a free Palm Pilot and become eligible to buy computers for their schools at deep discounts.
