Judge upholds Boston busing plan

A federal judge has rejected arguments by parents who filed a lawsuit claiming the city's busing policy discriminates against white students. The judge said the city may continue using its current assignment policy, which reserves 50% of the seats in a school for students in a designated walk zone and buses in students from other neighborhoods to fill in the rest.
