Former Georgia schools chief prepares for trial

Jury selection will take place this week in the trial of former Georgia schools chief Linda Schrenko, accused of stealing more than $600,000 in funding for students with hearing impairments and pumping about half of that amount into her unsuccessful run in the 2002 Republican gubernatorial primary. While the defense strategy has not yet been revealed, it could focus on Schrenko's use of prescription drugs.
