Atlantic City Hilton expected to announce growth plans

The Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort is planning an expansion worth as much as $1 billion or more. The hotel is currently the smallest of the city's casino hotels, and plans divulged at a meeting last week call for a new 1,000-room tower to boost the resort's room count beyond 1,800, and existing gaming space would double to about 120,000 square feet.
