Credit agencies to make reports available in alternate formats

For the first time, the three consumer-credit companies will make online reports compatible with screen-reading software and also provide Braille and large-print versions so people with vision impairments can read their own credit reports. "This is a great day for people who are looking to build on their level of independence and maintain their ability to manage their own affairs," said Paul Parravano of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who lost his sight in infancy.
