Cost-conscious customers seek cosmetics convenience

Shoppers are cutting back on cosmetics purchases, seeking products that are easy to use, especially effective or do more than one thing, a Mintel study found. In the first quarter, 27% of launches made convenience claims, including Johnson & Johnson Clean & Clear Facial Cleansing Wipes, designed to remove dirt and makeup without water.
