Pittsburgh hockey stadium seeks LEED-gold rating

A $321 million hockey arena under construction in Pittsburgh includes a glass atrium that allows for natural light and will have some of its electricity provided by green power sources. Officials with the Pittsburgh Penguins and the city said they will seek LEED gold certification for the arena. The arena would become the first in the National Hockey League to receive the rating.
