Survey: Social media trumps paid advertising

Survey results released Thursday by the Online Marketing Blog identified blogging, microblogging and search-engine optimization at the very top of the list of how marketers across the country are allocating their online marketing efforts. Nearly six out of the top 10 fell within the realm of social media, as opposed to some form of paid advertising.
