Cocktail purists warm to innovations in ice-making

When it comes to preserving the flavor of a finely aged scotch or the integrity of a carbonated cocktail, the secret may lie largely in the ice -- namely the size, shape and clarity. Large, spherical pieces of ice that melt more slowly than small cubes chill drinks adequately without over-diluting them, experts say.
