Paraprofessional is honored by Oklahoma CEC

Special-education paraprofessional Julie Steele was selected Outstanding Special Education Paraprofessional by the Oklahoma Council for Exceptional Children. Steele was nominated for the honor by special-education teacher Gretchen Cole-Lade, as well as the mother of a student whom she has worked with for three years. "Mrs. Steele continually demonstrates not only flexibility but high expectations for him every day," Cole-Lade said.
