Pilot founds nonprofit flight school for at-risk teens

Pilot Jack Howell founded nonprofit Teens-in-Flight in 1994 in Jacksonville, Fla. The organization, now based out of Flagler County Airport, offers flight lessons for at-risk youth, with flight times paid for by donations. Last week, Howell gave School Superintendent Janet Valentine a flight in his Cessna 150 to thank her for supporting the program.
