The establishment of a well-funded treaty against counterfeit drugs could be the most effective way to eradicate international trade of fake drugs, says Roger Bate, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. During the time it takes to create such an agreement, consumers should be allowed to purchase drugs online from credentialed foreign sources, Bate writes.
