European airlines group backs passenger data sharing with U.S.

The Association of European Airlines has praised the new agreement on sharing passenger data between the European Union and U.S. "This new deal gives airlines flying across the Atlantic a clear legal basis for compliance with U.S. data requests," said Ulrich Schulte-Strathaus, the association's secretary-general.
