Why you might want to sign termination papers without a fuss

Refusing to sign termination papers won't change the fact you're losing your job, and you could hurt your chances of receiving a good recommendation or being rehired, Suzanne Lucas writes. But if termination documents include an assessment of your work that you don't agree with or require you to make certain promises, you should consider running them by a lawyer before signing them, she writes.
