The debate over paperless tickets

The California state legislature voted to protect paperless tickets for live-music events, which are nontransferable by nature, which will directly affect players in the secondary market, such as StubHub. The philosophy of ticket ownership and rights continues to fuel the debate, and ultimately the bill supported the stance of concert promoters over ticket resellers. StubHub and Live Nation's Ticketmaster are on opposite sides of the issue.
